On May 1, 2025, in El Sunzal, El Salvador, the world of longboarding vibrated to the rhythm of the exceptional performances of Rachael Tilly (USA) and Édouard Delpero (FRA), both crowned world champions at the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Longboard Championship.
Rachael Tilly, confirmed dominance
Already holder of a WSL title, Rachael Tilly added an ISA gold medal to her list of achievements, beating off top-level competitors. Her mastery of nose rides and fluid style lit up the long straights of El Sunzal, confirming her place among the great figures of women's longboarding.
Édouard Delpero, gold after perseverance
On the French side, Édouard Delpero finally struck gold after several years on the podium. With impressive scores, including a wave rated 9.17, he dominated the men's final, giving France a historic victory and contributing to a fourth team gold medal.
Alice Lemoigne, a remarkable performance
Congratulations also to Alice Lemoignewho took silver in the women's competition. A two-time ISA world champion, the native of Réunion once again demonstrated her talent and determination, delivering a top-class performance for France.
